about isa west

ISA is an indoor training facility that offers quality instruction for both the serious and recreation-minded athletes in the greater St. Croix Valley area. The primary goal for ISA is to promote baseball and softball fundamentals for all ages. By focusing on quality instruction and the long-term development of players, ISA athletes are able to realize their full potential.

ISA offers travel team programs, camps and clinics, individual lessons, team training, rentals, and other ancillary services.

THE ISA STORY

Impact Sports Academy (“ISA”) was established in 2017 by retired MLB pitcher Jason Berken in his hometown of De Pere, WI after recognizing the need for quality baseball and softball training in the greater Green Bay area.

ISA began with a combined 17 teams in its first season, and over the course of the next three years, grew to 45+ teams.  Due to rapid growth, ISA outgrew their original space and in 2019, ISA announced the development of a new facility. The new 42,000 sq. foot building features a full size infield, eight full length 70 foot batting cages, and a 4,500 sq. foot performance center.  The building was completed in June of 2021.

Through baseball community connections, ISA was introduced to Sean Parnell, a former college and Seattle Mariners draft pick, who is now a New Richmond High School varsity baseball coach.  Sean recognized a similar need for quality baseball and softball training in the western part of Wisconsin and approached ISA about a partnership.

After months of discussion, it became clear that the vision ISA has created and executed over the last six years falls in line with the vision that Sean has for the greater St. Croix Valley area.

ISA and Sean Parnell have partnered together on the expansion into a second ISA location that will be known as ISA West and located in Somerset, WI.
