Lauren Dixon
Softball Instructor
Lauren Dixon brings high-level playing experience and a passion for developing young athletes to our program. A graduate of Pulaski High School, she helped lead her team to a State Tournament appearance in 2019 before continuing her career at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
At UMD, Lauren was a four-year starting pitcher and one of the most accomplished players in program history. She holds career records for wins (72), strikeouts (813), and shutouts (31), and played a key role in leading her team to the 2023 NSIC Conference Tournament Championship and an NCAA Central Region Tournament appearance. Her individual honors include 2023 NSIC Pitcher of the Year and 2024 CSC Academic First Team All-American.
A left-handed pitcher specializing in the rise, change-up, and drop, Lauren emphasizes strong fundamentals—something she credits to her own development at Pulaski. While early in her coaching career, she has already led youth pitching camps and is excited to continue giving back by helping the next generation of athletes build confidence, consistency, and a love for the game.
Lauren graduated from UMD with a degree in Chemical Engineering, completed an internship at NASA’s Langley Research Center, and currently works as an RD&I Materials Engineer at Andersen Corporation.
